He initiated with the quotation that “Education is the third eye of human beings”. Further he quoted the words of United Nations accordingly International legal basis which they state, “The right to education is reflected in international law in Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Articles 13 and 14 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights”. Moreover, constitutionally and according to International laws Education is considered as the basic rights of human beings but the education system of Balochistan shows there is a denial to provide education to Baloch. According to reports, there are over 2.5 million children out of school.
Jointly survey by: United Nations International Children Emergency Funds (UNICEF) and Global Partnership For Education (GPE) display that……
•25% of Govt schools are without buildings.
•64% are without potable water.
•90% have no sanitations.
Besides, according to UNESCO report 500 schools in Balochistan have no scientific rooms, majority lack laboratories and 80% of schools don’t have basic facilities such as, potable water, boundaries, drainage system, electricity, etc. The discussion further included the Ghost teachers and Ghost schools.
Women education and gender base discrimination factors of Balochistan education system were also discussed where the woman’s education is totally ignored which is leading toward an uneducated generation. Similarly, he also briefly described harassment scandals in UOB and the recent case of BMC, where girls students were taken out from hostels.
