Topic: Lenin: the Russian Socialist Revolutionary Leader

While opening the lecture, the speaker said that the word leader means to lead a group,nation or a society. Moreover , the leader must have extra ordinary leading qualities in order to succeed in his or her goals.
Lenin belonged to the RSDLP Party. Later on, it became popular with the name of Bolshevik. RSDLP party was popular as a socialist democratic party.
It is said that Lenin was influenced significantly after reading the book “What Is to be done”. The book became a guidance in his entire political life.
After the Russian revolution of 1917, Lenin emerged as one of the most powerful leader on the earth. Under his rule, Russia became stronger and expanded its influence across the globe. She further said that the socialist ideology gained popularity exponentially, and it particularly became the word of mouth in subjugated and marginalized classes. The labour unions, across the world, began agitations under socialist ideology.
Despite being brutal, the revolution paved way for a new world order where capitalist had to share the wealth with the working class according to his services.
The extra ordinary leadership of Lenin is remembered with immense reverence.
In the final words, she uttered that charismatic leaders can bring unimaginable change if they are equipped with an ideology.
