The Future of Baloch Society: An Inherent Analysis of Power Shifting and Neoliberal Possibilities
Amin Zaamin Baloch
In this article, I use the word Croesus for a privileged authority who exercises power in our society, and fat cat for the member of auxiliary class, who makes his pen an instrument for having money to mobilize the youth towards industrial democracy.
The Power Shifting
For sustaining the notion of ‘no man is a lay man’, the auxiliary class does not need any social contract, because the social contract stands for that ‘the Croesus is responsible for making a class impecunious’. Initially, the auxiliary class dependents upon the existence of Croesus, because neither the ruling party remains problematic to it, nor it has objections to existing social patterns, which are based on Croesus’ social and political conducts. Usually, it is ideology-less class, it never tries to create a clash with ruling parties’ Croesus, and it does not try to approach a new social pattern with revolutionary manners.
In present Balochistan, no ruling party has leadership from grass roots. The ruling party is a political club of the Croesus. Basically, the auxiliary class has made the Croesus enough powerful for the sake of its own progress, that is why the society is sustained in conservative pattern. For making the social pattern intact, the auxiliary class is not impugning the on-going fascism, neither it is tolerating any unions, nor supporting any popular organization. Even, the class contravenes a social reformation. But, on the other hand, it proposes the industrial democracy as a progressive model, because the industrial democracy remains a global source of power shifting. This is an underhand technique that would be politically approved and it wouldn’t be socially challenged.
Historically, the industrial democracy has been remained a political solution that in turn, translates pauper into fat cat, and fat cat into the Croesus who has individualistic grounds. Ironically, the industrial democracy makes this romance possible.
Unfortunately, this romance requires a source, which can only be possible to make the pen an instrument of production. As we know that the auxiliary class is ready to use his pen as an instrument of production. The class promotes that the instrumentalization of pen is a sign of efficiency. Further, it proposes to consider the pen as a valid source that would be a business model at all.
Before the last election in Balochistan, the nationalist groups were major obstacle to the auxiliary class. Hence, it promoted a new apparent version of nationalism for dismantling those nationalists that were remained deterrent. Neo-nationalism of Balochistan, a politically Croesus class, braced the auxiliary class and did spur it to become a Croesus.
Systematically, when auxiliary class turns to become a Croesus, ultimately this status creates some options, where the newly become Croesus (NBC) finds itself to select an option, and comparatively fulfill a selected role that would be globally recognized. For the sake of available task, it goes to collect information and conducts available information to its own society. Intrinsically, its application creates effect on local legislation with international scheme.
Practically speaking, the feminism has emerged as a vital and important discourse in our society, because it creates options. However, this option provides some conducted responsibilities. That is only effectuating grounds for being privileged, but it is covering options to the NBC that what traditional pattern has to be condemned.
The NBC traces feministic problems from the sagas of Baloch oral ballads and conducts a rational ground to present female as an oppressed gender. This notion opens more relevant sources to NBC to collect information, i.e. during intercourse woman always thinks that why she remains down and the man up. Ultimately, concerning information translates to favor the legislation effectually.
If we summarize our first portion, then it would be clear that the above discussed discourse is not more than the political power shifting. In our Baloch society, neither the literate man is a lay man, nor is he a public.
The Future and Neoliberal Possibilities
In Balochistan, as a result, two things remain (somehow) impossible. One is the narration of people history, and second: there would be resistance on power shifting, which is an external projection on us. The NBC will make Balochistan as an open market that will determine historical grounds of Baloch with the reference to ‘Baloch as a nation that supports individualism’. It will be narrated that Baloch tribes are surviving for their individual identity. Moreover, the existence of sub-tribe is making it clearer that the individualistic pattern is deeply rooted in Baloch society. If Baloch would get more urban facilities, then it will never afford collection. According to Noam Chomsky, this notion is neoliberal in its nature.
As I observed that our sources of being neoliberal are corruption and self-developed organizations (SDO) which converts fat cat’s black into white. Intrinsically, both sources initiate financialization. The SDOs leads us towards financialization, because (According to Manabendra Nath Roy) it is an organized step which ever makes the flow of capital possible. However, SDOs develop different scheme of welfares to cover essential needs of public, and penetrate consumption prevailing pattern in every individual’s life. In short, SDOs are projected to make every individual as a consumer. Ultimately, it creates option to individual and determines his responsibility. According to Noam Chomsky, when policies become general with individualistic manners, then everyone considers them true because of their global characters.
Technically, initiating a welfare trust (at least) can be considered an apt ground for making the huge amount of corruption financialized, because this step is a step to generate a SDO. At least, it results to enhance private and corporate power; here, the industrial democracy remains the only source that makes the application of private and corporate power possible.
