He began the lecture by interpreting the word Personality ,which was derived from a latin word, Parsona , that means mask .
However, he defined the personality that is the total quality of an individual behavior and some people think that personality refers the manner and style of clothing and conversation. Similarly ,personality actually stands for the pattern of the attitudes , thoughts ,emotion, and feelings.
As Sigmund Freud described it ,personality is the composed of Id Ego and Super ego.
Id, is the driving force of the personality that is located in the unconscious and id is the principle of pleasure and wishes that demands immediate satisfaction .
Ego,is the second part of personality ,refers conscious and keeps the personality in a state of balance .
Super ego,the third part consists moral that begins to develop in the early five years and sigmund frued said that a child learns the rules and ideas from his or her parents.
“developments of the personality “it contains five major personality development process such as ,oral stage, anal stage,phallic stage and latency stage ,so he has defined them with examples as well.

At last the speaker well dicussed the three types of personality as;
Extvovert personality , those personalities who are highly social .
Introvert personality ,is opposite of extrovert those individuals who live in their own imaginary world.
Ambivert personality ,at last type people want to live alone and with group of peoples too.
